The Dutch government says it may have to reconsider ratifying a treaty establishing closer European Union ties with Ukraine after a strong majority of voters rejected an Association Agreement in a nonbinding referendum, Radio Liberty reports.
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hopes that the citizens of the Netherlands will support the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement at the referendum in April; he stated this during the meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders in The Hague, the press service of the Ukrainian Parliament reports.
