The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified the loan agreement on economic reforms between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The Ukrainian government and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed an agreement on the second development policy loan worth around 300 million US dollars on December 4.
Japan International Cooperation Agency will provide 3 million US dollars for a pilot project as part of the creation of the national infrastructure for geospatial data in Ukraine, Deputy Head of Diplomatic Mission and Advisor to Embassy of Japan to Ukraine Hiromi Nakano has said.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has discussed reforming the UN Security Council with a Japanese House of Representatives delegation led by Chairman of the Ukrainian-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League Eisuke Mori.
