Ukraine's Stakhovsky returns to ATP top 50

Stakhovsky has climbed three positions because of reaching the finals at the Challenger with a prize fund of $75,000 in Istanbul, Turkey, Ukrinform reports. The next tournament for Stakhovsky will take place in Metz, France, with a prize fund of 494,000 euros. Elina Svitolina has kept her 16th ranking at the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Lesya Tsurenko’s ranking is the 40th, while Kateryna Bondarenko’s - the 83th. This week Svitolina will play at the Toray Pan Pacific Open premier series tournament in Tokyo,Japan, with a prize fund of one million US dollars, where she faces her fellow Ukrainian Olga Savchuk in the opener. Bondarenko will play against the 6th seed at the tournament Spaniard Carla Suarez Navarro, whom she defeated at the Japan Women's Open Tennis last week.
