World Bank gives $25 million for Rivne region rural health care project

"The project includes reconstruction of 26 rural medical facilities, renovations of 79 out-patient clinics, implementation of IT-technologies in clinics, and the establishment of a cardiovascular center. These activities will be implemented in the Rivne region within the framework of the project on improving the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. This was discussed during a press conference of the governor of the Rivne region Vitaliy Chuhunnikov and head of the working group of the World Bank, Paolo Belli," a statement said. The World Bank will give $25 million for the five-year project. The share of the regional budget in the project will amount to ten percent.
