The new local TV channel "Donechchina-TV" in the first quarter of 2018 will begin satellite broadcasting in the area of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine, said on his Facebook page member of the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting Sergiy Kostynsky.

According to him, the decision was made by the Commission on ensuring the stable functioning of the national television and radio broadcasting system under the Ministry of Information Policy. In the first quarter of next year, residents of uncontrolled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be able to receive signal of the TV channel.

He also said that on the territory of Luhansk region, the first television channel "First Western" will broadcast. The Lviv TV channel will replace the local TV channel "IRTA", which refused to broadcast in Svatove, Bilovods'k and Markovtsi. "First Western" is broadcasting in the digital standard from the Bakhmut Tower in the direction of Lugansk.

As it was reported, in early December, Verkhovna Rada introduced a simplified procedure for granting permits for temporary broadcasting in the ATO area and areas near the Crimea. In late August, the National Broadcasting Council issued licenses for broadcasting on the territory of ATO radio stations "Radio M", "Army FM" and "Trident FM".
