Ukrainians consider corruption to be main problem for country

46% of Ukrainians call corruption the main problem for Ukraine, 68% consider inflation as the biggest problem for themselves.

These are the results of a poll that were released on  November 28 by the United States Analytical Center of the International Republic Institute (IRI).

The conflict in the Donbass region was named as the biggest challenge for the country by 43% of respondents, prices rising - by 36%.

Asked about the kind of problem that has the greatest impact on their personal level, in addition to inflation, Ukrainians called the conflict in the Donbass (28%) and unemployment (26%).

According to the poll, 67% of Ukrainians believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction (68% of them in June this year). At the same time, it is likely that some Ukrainians see more grounds for optimism at the local level. Thus, the survey indicates that 85% of Khmelnytsky residents believe that their city is moving in the right direction, and only 24% of the interviewed Khmelnytsky citizens believe that the whole of Ukraine is moving in the right direction.
