Today, 80 years have passed since the mass shootings of the Ukrainian intelligentsia in the Sandarmok tract, which became one of the symbols of the Great Terror.
In the documents of the Soviet secret services this area is marked as "the usual place of executions". In 1937 about 7 thousand people were shot down who were of 60 nationalities and nine religious beliefs. Among them there were 677 Ukrainians.
