The meeting of the High-level Strategic Council between Ukraine and Turkey, chaired by Presidents Petro Poroshenko and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will be held on October 9 in Kyiv.
This is reported by the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state.
"The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will pay an official visit to Ukraine on October 9, 2017. The sixth meeting of the High-level Strategic Council between Ukraine and Turkey will be held under the co-chairs of Petro Poroshenko and Recep Tayyip Erdogan," the statement reads.
As it is mentioned, during the meeting the sides will discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in all strategic directions, as well as issues of international peace and regional security. Following the results of the Strategic Council meeting, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.
