The German tabloid "Bild" named the Ukrainian boxer Volodymyr Klitschko "Example of the year".
It was announced at the "15. SPORT BILD-Award" ceremony held in Hamburg.
"Today, I can celebrate as much as I want, not thinking about the training next morning," said the 41-year-old Klitschko, adding that he has never won as much as now.
He did not expect to receive a prize after his defeat in the last fight (with Joshua). This was Volodymyr's first appearance in the public after announcing of the end of his career 3 weeks ago.
Recall, Klitschko became one of the winners of the year under the version of "Bild".
