Three Ukrainian soldiers wounded in ATO zone

Illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire 33 times in the past 24 hours , wounding three Ukrainian soldiers, the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press service reported.

"At the end of the past day, the situation in the ATO zone remained tense, the Russian-occupation groups not only actively used mortars of various calibers, but also fired at our positions using Grad (Partizan) rocket launchers," the (ATO) headquarters reported on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

In the coastal area, on Tuesday night militants opened fire using mortars of 120 and 82 mm caliber in the area of Krasnohorivka. The Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil were shelled twice from grenade launchers, mortars and small arms, and around midnight four times from a Grad (Partizan) portable rocket launcher.

In the Luhansk sector, militants used mortars of various calibers to fire at the strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Krymske and Troitske several times. In addition, in the evening, Ukrainian military were caught under fire in the area of Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka.

In the Donetsk sector, militants continued to shell the Avdiyivka industrial zone. In the evening and at night alone, militants opened fire three times using mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
