China plans to increase import of food products from Ukraine

The People's Republic of China plans to increase the volumes of imports of Ukrainian food products, which meet the standards of quality and safety.

It is reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
"The PRC is ready to increase the volume of food imports, but the focus is made precisely on the indicators of quality and safety, and products of Ukrainian origin just meet these criteria," the message says. In particular, work has begun on signing protocols on sanitary and phytosanitary requirements for export of sunflower meal and beet pulp from Ukraine to the PRC.

Earlier it was reported that in May 2017 a protocol was signed on inspection, quarantine and veterinary and sanitary requirements for the export of frozen beef from Ukraine to the People's Republic of China.
