Kyiv expects EU to extend personal sanctions against Russian citizens over escalation of Donbas crisis – Poroshenko

"To adequately response to the aggressor, we must maintain unity, including on the issue of further sanction pressure on Russia by motivating it to sit down at the negotiation table and implement the obligations it undertook in Minsk," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels on Thursday. According to him, Ukraine expects that the EU will soon decide to prolong personal sanctions against those responsible for the violation of the decency, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea's annexation and the aggression in Donbas.
