No Ukrainians killed or injured after bus crash accident in Romania – Foreign Ministry

"Consul of Ukraine's embassy in Romania, who visited a road accident site that happened near the city of Braila early on August 19 was provided an information from city authorities and authorized agencies that there are no killed or injured Ukrainians [in bus crash]," reads the report. As reported, Ukrainian citizens were travelling on a bus with Turkish number plates which crashed in the morning near the city of Braila (Romania) while travelling between Istanbul-Chisinau. "According to preliminary information, the bus was carrying 50 passengers, Ukrainian citizens as well. As a result of the accident, two persons [have been] killed: one adult and one child; and 12 persons were seriously injured. Romanian rescuers will organize transportation of injured persons to hospitals in Bucharest by helicopter. A consul of the Ukrainian embassy in Romania has left for the crash site," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on it website on Wednesday.
