Russian prosecution demands 23 years jail term for Ukrainian filmmaker Sentsov

As reported, the North Caucasus district military court in Rostov holds hearing against Ukrainian film director Oleg Sentsov and activist Oleksandr Kolchenko on terrorism charges. According to Russia's investigation, Sentsov allegedly organized an underground group linked to the Right Sector in Crimea in spring of 2014. Kolchenko is charged of participation in this so-called terrorist organization. Both Ukrainians deny the charges. Ukraine has officially protested against Sebtsov's illegal arrest, detention, and prosecution, stressing the charges brought against him are absurd and fabricated.
