Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed the head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasyrov to take urgent measures to repay tax arrears to the budget.
According to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the total tax debt of all business entities to the state budget reached UAH 55 billion. However, the Prime Minister said, debt restructuring is only possible for those companies that are able to pay this debt and have a temporary liquidity crisis, and only under conditions stipulated by the law.
He instructed the head of the state fiscal service to meet with all the major debtors and inform them of the position of the Government.
