Lithuania ready to provide further comprehensive support to Ukraine

The Head of State expressed gratitude to the Foreign Minister of Lithuania for constant active support to our state in the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity, provision of humanitarian assistance to IDPs of Donbas, recreation of children and rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian ATO warriors. The President informed his Lithuanian guest on the situation in Donbas and emphasized substantial deterioration on the delimitation line. In his turn, Linas Linkevičius assured the Ukrainian President of Lithuania’s willingness to provide further comprehensive support to Ukraine, inter alia, through the consolidation of efforts of the world community for the termination of aggression against Ukraine. The parties also exchanged views on the prospects of interaction between the two states within the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement and the introduction of visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
