Ukraine files complaint against Russia with WTO over trade transit restrictions

Ukraine as part of its membership in the World Trade Organization filed a complaint against Russia over trade transit restrictions imposed on many Ukrainian goods. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ukraine has demanded that the WTO set up a group of experts to address the restriction of transit of goods from Ukraine via Russian territory to third countries.
In the result of Russia's restrictions imposed on Ukrainian exports to third countries - namely, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan-  Ukraine's exports to these countries have significantly reduced .
