Poroshenko signs bill to hike defense spending by UAH 5.3 billion in 2015

The law provides for the increase in financing of anti-terrorist operations in the amount of UAH 5.299 billion within the approved framework of the state budget of Ukraine for 2015. In particular, the Ministry of Defense will obtain UAH 5.140 billion to finance urgent needs to continue military draft and UAH 158.7 million will fund other law enforcement agencies for feeding personnel. The Rada passed the law on July 17.
