Ukrainian high school students win three bronze medals in astrophysics competition

"Ukraine team consisted of five participants who won three bronze medals and two honorary diplomas for winning the fourth place. Vladyslav Verteletsky, Ukrainian high school student at the physics and mathematics high school under the auspices of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, received a bronze medal," a statement said. IX International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics was held from July 26 till August 4, 2015 in the city of Magelang in Central Java, Indonesia. Over 200 high school students from 41 countries participated in the competition.
