Transparency International rates Ukraine as one of most corrupt countries

"They [the aforementioned countries] received bad ratings across all the key corruption questions, suggesting real and serious corruption challenges in these countries, which urgently need to be addressed. These countries are marked by high perceptions of corruption among members of parliament, high bribery rates and a negative social environment for engaging in anti-corruption actions," the organization said in research posted on its website. Transparency International said that Ukraine is the least active country in anti-corruption efforts. "The governments of Ukraine (86%), Moldova (84%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (82%), and Spain (80%) were judged worst by their citizens," the research said.
