EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini reminded the Foreign Ministers of the EU promises of visa-free regime for Ukraine and Georgia during a meeting of the EU Council on Foreign Affairs. She stressed that progress in the liberalization of visas for Georgia and Ukraine should be a priority in the European Union.
EU ambassadors will discuss the visa regime for Ukraine on November 17. According to unofficial information, granting Ukraine visa-free regime is inhibited by France, Germany and Belgium.
