"In Donetsk direction, the invaders used 122mm artillery to fire at our strongholds near Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk]. The enemy also used 12 mm mortars to shell Avdiyivka, Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk], Luhanske [59km north-east of Donetsk]," the report says. As noted, Ukrainian servicemen also came under fire outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).
