The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of Israel have signed an agreement on temporary employment of Ukrainians in certain sectors of the Israeli economy and the implementation protocol 'A' to it, which deals with the construction industry.
"This is a unique agreement, which gives thousands of Ukrainians of different professions, such as building trades, an opportunity to work in Israel on the same terms as citizens of Israel with proper social security and adequate health insurance," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said after the signing of the agreement in Kyiv .
He noted that the agreement provides for the exchange of technology and experience.The foreign minister also expressed the hope that the agreement will be ratified soon by both Ukrainian and Israeli parliaments.
