Ukraine’s envoy to UN officially accuses Russia of supporting terrorism

"Ukraine has been a victim of aggression of its neighbor, Russia, for more than two years. Russia temporarily occupied and tried to illegally annex part of the territory of Ukraine – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Russia continues to carry out hostile and subversive activities by supporting terrorism in Donbas," the Ukrainian diplomat said. Yelchenko stressed that Moscow was using a variety of hybrid war technologies, including financing of terrorism, to promote the ideology of the so-called "Russian world." "This neo-imperialist ideology allows and facilitates violations of international law and human rights, commission of serious crimes, including acts of terrorism," the Ukraine’s envoy said.
