Washington promises to support new Ukrainian government

Washington has promised to support the new Ukrainian government not only politically but also financially. Among the four demands of the USA to a new prime minister and the Government of Ukraine - cooperation with the IMF, the association with the EU, the fight against corruption and implementation of the Minsk agreements.

These and other important issues for Ukraine were discussed for 10 minutes during a meeting in Washington between Petro Poroshenko and Barack Obama. This was announced by Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine Kostyantyn Yelyseyev. According to the diplomat, the American side assured the Ukrainian delegation that the level of support for Ukraine by the US will depend on the success of reforms that will be implemented by a new government.
