Ukraine accumulates enough gas volumes - Prime Minister

"We have accumulated sufficient gas volumes... About 13 billion cubic meters of gas are in the Ukrainian gas storage facilities now. So, the current reserves are 2.3 billion larger than those we had last year," Yatsenyuk said. The Prime Minister stressed that Ukraine had stopped buying gas from the Russian Federation. "January 1, they billed USD 212 per one thousand cubic meters. We do not buy gas from Russia, because we buy gas from the European Union at a lower price. The average cost of gas in the European Union is about USD 200," Yatsenyuk said.
