Parliament passes law on foreign broadcasting system

By 282 votes the MPs supported submitted to the Parliament by the Cabinet of Ministers draft law "On foreign broadcasting system." The document establishes legal framework for activity of public enterprise, which will be tasked to fulfill functions of foreign broadcasting broadcasting. Funding will be taken from the state budget and should make not less than 0.04% of the expenditures of general fund budget for the previous year. In addition, funding sources can be funds received  from sale of television and radio production of its own production, as well as funds received from broadcast of advertising and so on. Programs will be made in Ukrainian and other languages, depending on urgency and feasibility of their use.
