Ukraine’s Parliament sets up State Bureau of Investigation

241 MPs supported the bill No.2114, Ukrinform reports. The law stipulates that the State Bureau of Investigation solves the tasks of prevention, detection, suppression and investigation of the crimes associated with organized criminal groups and organizations, tortures and other crimes related to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment committed by law enforcement officials, especially grave violent crimes, punished by life imprisonment, war crimes, crimes committed by senior officials.
