"On November 5 - 6, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk will visit the Latvian Republic on a working visit at the invitation of his Latvian counterpart Laimdota Straujuma," a statement said. Within the framework of the visit, there will be the first joint meeting in the foreign policy history of heads of governments from Ukraine and the Baltic states - Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Laimdota Straujuma of Latvia, Algirdas Butkevicius of Lithuania and Taavi Roivas of Estonia. The new format of dialogue aims to strengthen and expand the strategic Baltic-Ukrainian cooperation. It is expected that talks of government leaders will be focused on maintaining the peace process in the region, solidarity and joint activities concerning Russian aggression against our country and the fundamental principles of international coexistence. Also, issues of political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, practical assistance for reforms in Ukraine and European integration will be discussed. The agenda for his visit includes talks with Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis, a visit to NATO Centre of Strategic Communications and the famous Riga Ukrainian school. Prime Minister of Ukraine will participate in the 10th Riga conference - the authoritative international forum that is dedicated this year to the theme of geo-economics. During the visit a historical event  will be sealed at a joint unveiling of Taras Shevchenko monument in Riga by the prime ministers of Latvia and Ukraine.
