President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sees good prospects for cooperation wth Ukraine in energy, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. This was stressed by him at a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko in Ashgabat on October 29. "We have very good bilateral relations with Ukraine," he said, adding that they need to be given an additional boost.
On his part Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that cooperation between our countries is of historical and strategic character.
According to him, it is important to develop cooperation in economic, trade, humanitarian, scientific and technical spheres as well as in education.
A number of documents in agricultural, economic and industrial areas, as well as agreements between universities of the two countries are expected to be signed following the talks.
