Secretary of National Security and Defense Oleksandr Turchynov will attend the opening of the international conference of military chaplains of the NATO member-states . The event will be first held on the territory of the Ukrainian National Guard training center in Novi Petrivtsi.
The venue chosen for is holding is symbolic. October 28 is the Day of Ukraine's liberation from Nazi invaders, and it was on the territory of Lyutez bridgehead on the outskirts of the Novi Petrivtsi village that on November 3, 1943 I Ukrainian Front troops started Kyiv strategic offensive that resulted in liberation of the capital of Ukraine on November 6, 1943.
Participants can take part in the ceremony to sanctify the Cross on the site of the future construction of the chapel, in master classes and workshops.
