The Russian border service does not let into the country the terrorists returning from the combat zone in eastern Ukraine, National Security and Defence Council information centre spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing on Thursday.
"Border guards let militants who leave Russia for Ukraine without noticing them, but in the opposite direction they eliminate them," he said. Lysenko said that on Wednesday, June 25, on the neutral territory Russian border guards opened fire on a minibus with militants. "In the vicinity of the border line, on the neutral territory, Russian border guards opened fire on a Gazelle van. There were Russian citizens in the van who participated in combat operations in Ukraine on the side of the terrorists. None of them came out alive from there," the spokesman said.
