The issue of federalization requires thorough examination and discussion and not the emotional decisions, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.in an interview with journalist Vitaliy Korotych broadcasted on the Inter TV channel.
Yanukovych took Germany as an example."What did the federalization give to Germany? Today Germans say that they received a real efficient mechanism influencing fairness of distribution of state funds," he said. The president said that the possibility of introducing federalization "depends on traditions.""The issue should be studied. Maybe, discussion should be held and conditions should be created, as today there is no enough information, and any crucial issues must not be resolved with emotions. Everything should be counted," Yanukovych said.
