Azarov to attend Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Moscow on December 24

Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov will visit Moscow on December 24 to participate in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) at the level of heads of state. This would be one-day visit.

In addition, Azarov could also meet with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.Earlier, Russian media quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and State Secretary Grigory Karasin as saying that the council's meeting in Moscow on December 24-25 would be attended by the presidents of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The presidents of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were also invited to the meeting.It is planned to discuss the main areas of integration interaction of the member-states of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. It is known that Ukraine intends to obtain an observer status in the Eurasian economic union of the three countries since its inception - from 1 January 2015. The governments of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus have agreed on a memorandum of giving our country this status . By the way , Russia, already on December 24, will give Ukraine $ 3 billion for Eurobonds. This was announced by Russian Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov. He also noted that Russia will not trade with  these securities.
