The expansion of strategic partnership with China is a priority in Ukraine's foreign policy, President Viktor Yanukovych said at a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
The Ukrainian president said he was satisfied with the intensification of Ukraine-China relations and the successful development of bilateral dialogue. Li, in turn, said that the Ukrainian president's visit to China and the signing of several bilateral agreements had laid a good foundation for further development of relations between the two countries. The sides discussed expanding cooperation in aviation, agriculture, shipbuilding, cooperation in finance, the banking system, and the creation of industrial parks. Special attention was paid to cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. The sides also discussed the development of the Great Silk Road.
