Parliament meets for plenary session

President's Representative in Parliament Yuriy Miroshnichenko said that the Party of Regions will offer to create a temporary parliamentary investigating commission to assess events on Independence Square and the situation in the country.

According to him, the commission shall be made of the representatives of the majority and the opposition. And on the basis of their findings a decision will be made on the assessment of police action, said the MP. Instead, the opposition is demanding the resignation of the Cabinet and the prosecution of those persons who were involved in the beating of civilians. Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak informed about withdrawal from the Party of Regions of David Zhvania and Inna Bohoslovska. He also assured that no strangers are present in the building of the Parliament. Prior to this leader of the "Batkivshchyna" Yatsenyuk said that 200 men of sport physique were brought to the building. The Parliament building is surrounded on all sides by the employees of the Interior Ministry Berkut riot police and servicemen of internal troops, as "Interfax - Ukraine" informs. Shovkovychna Street is blocked by buses. Behind them there are protesters participating in a pro-Euro rally. However, supporters of the Party of Regions , who set the stage in Mariinsky Park near the Parliament, announced the start of the All-Ukrainian actions in support of the President.
