This is what Maryna Stavniychuk, an advisor to the Ukrainian president and head of the department of constitutional and legal modernization at Ukraine's Presidential Administration told the Ukrainian Service of Voice of America. "Ukraine, actually, is working today, working seriously, working dynamically over the commitments that we have taken in terms of the association exactly at the Vilnius summit, and over the implementation of the tasks that it faces. Other options are not considered," Stavniychuk said.
The president's advisor recalled that the Verkhovna Rada has already considered in first reading a bill to strengthen the independence of judiciary, and a bill on procuracy will be considered soon. Also, the parliament has already received a bill concerning the improvement of electoral legislation. Stavniychuk believes that Ukraine still has time to fulfill its obligations.
