The Ukrainian government intends to keep the market of the Customs Union after signing an Association Agreement with the European Union in November in Vilnius. This is what Ukrainian Government's Commissioner for Cooperation with Russia, CIS, EurAsEC and other regional associations Valeriy Muntian told the Russia-24 television channel.
According to Muntian, for the Ukrainian market the Customs Union and the European Union are very important. He noted that the EU market in Ukraine makes 29.6% of total turnover, and the market of the Customs Union - 38%. Mechanical engineering, finished products, pipes, cars dominate in the structure of the Customs Union market."This market cannot be replaced, and no one will compensate the risks, if we lose it, including the EU," Muntian emphasized. He added that Ukraine is doing everything possible to minimize the risks.
