UDAR party leader Vitali Klitschko at the conciliatory council of heads of the parliamentary committees and factions voiced a number of the opposition's requirements related to the upcoming mayoral election in the city of Kyiv. "We call for giving Kyiv mayor the rights and powers of head of the Kyiv city administration, that is, uniting these two positions," Klitschko said.
UDAR's another requirement is holding the mayoral elections in Kyiv in two rounds and making changes to the electoral law to make the use of administrative resource impossible. Klitschko also added that his faction supports holding the mayoral election in Kyiv on June 2, 2013.
