Ukraine's development impossible without effective judiciary - Yanukovych

"The development of Ukraine as a law-governed state is impossible without effective operation of the judicial branch of power. The priority role in the responsible and difficult mission of administration of justice for many years has been vested in the Supreme Court of Ukraine," Yanukovych said.

This is what President Viktor Yanukovych said, having congratulated judges and court staff on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. "I am confident that you will continue to make every effort to ensure the consistent protection of citizens' rights, strengthen the image of our state as a guarantor of law and order, and the credibility of justice", the message of greetings reads.
