Ukraine expects to develop positive elations with new Venezuelan leadership

Ukraine expects to develop positive and mutually beneficial bilateral relations with a new Venezuelan leadership, said acting spokesman of Ukraine’s Foreign ministry Yevhen Perebyinis in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Venezuelan officials called for peace and unity after President’s death on Tuesday. Venezuela begins seven days of mourning after the death of President Hugo Chavez.  Elections will be held in 30 days, and Vice President Nicolas Maduro has assumed the presidency in the interim.
