Yanukovych wants to discuss engagement with Customs Union in quadripartite format

The format of Ukraine's cooperation with the Customs Union should be discussed in the quadripartite format - in addition to Ukraine and Russia, also with Kazakhstan and Belarus, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said this before a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the Zavidovo summer residence.

He said that today there is a political discussion, not the economic one.Yanukovych also said that Ukraine should start working with the Eurasian Economic Commission. "When we start viewing these papers practically, there would be full clarity in terms of accession, because all the documents have to pass internal procedures, as it was in all three countries," said the Ukrainian president.
