In next few years, Ukrainian national armed forces to be reduced by more than 70,000 servicemen

This was stated by First Deputy Defense Minister Olexander Oliynyk.

According to him, in 2017 the army will number 110 000 soldiers and personnel of the Armed Forces. Reduction of the armed forces will be held at the expense of the military, who will retire, and transfer of the army to contract basis.
