Term of exploitation of 85 percent of Kyiv roads long ended

This was voiced by Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov. At the same time, he says, to bring all metropolitan roads to the ideal state requires about UAH 20 billion - which is more than the entire capital budget for the current year.

However, it was in 2012 that the capital has made the greatest progress over the Independence years to restore order on the roads:  half a million square meters of the roads and streets and 300 thousand square meters of intra and adjacent territories were reconstructed. However, after melting of the snow it became clear: many sections of the roads need immediate repair , says Alexander Popov.
