Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko and Economic Development and Trade Minister Ihor Prasolov will hold talks with EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht on January 23 to discuss the revision of Ukraine's tariff obligations within the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"Vice Premier Boiko and Economic Development Minister Prasolov will hold talks on the issue with EU Commissioner Gucht on January 23, and I think we will find a compromise and we see some movement in this direction," he said at a meeting with foreign investors in Kyiv on Friday. The PM also said that Ukraine has filed an application to the WTO to revise its tariff obligations on 370 commodity items. Azarov added that on January 23 the country's government would consider a draft program on the domestic market development. According to him, the program will include a number of measures aimed at the creation of favorable conditions for the development of various spheres.
