Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said he is committed to developing close cooperation with the Customs Union in 2013. He said this in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukraine newspaper.
"Our country will also develop close partnership with the Customs Union and other regional organizations," Yanukovych said, when asked to name his expectations for this year. According to Yanukovych, Ukraine needs mutually beneficial cooperation with this integration union. "We should not forget that the Customs Union is a huge market for Ukrainian products, and Ukrainian trade with it is more than 60 billion U.S. dollars," he underscored.
